Blank Space is proud to present Interknit, an art and music event series with an aim of promoting dialogue and collaboration between musicians and artists in the live performance setting.

The concept behind the event is simple; Blank Space Arts choses a visual artist to feature and we connect them with musicians and DJ’s who best compliment their work. They then begin a dialog leading up to the event to coordinate the moods, textures, and story arc of the evening, creating a unique, one time only installation.

The debut of Interknit will feature Audio Depth Device, a 100% improvised drum and bass duo consisting of Wyllys and Rick Lowenberg from Brothers Past that explores the sub-genres of breakbeat and jungle cultures. We have also invited local vinyl guru Brett Scott to play a collection of downtempo and eclectic tunes creating the foundation upon which the night will be built.
