Horizon Wireless

Horizon Wireless blends psychedelic break-beat music with a variety of other styles including trip-hop, minimal tech-funk, and psy-breaks to create high energy and soulful dance sets. Seamlessly using elements from all across the sound spectrum, unique mixes are woven together through each show, creating a storm of soul smashing beats, titillating harmonies, and wet melodies. This sonic tsunami can easily induce multiple crowdgasms, so bringing a towel to shows is not only recommended, but encouraged as well.

Sistine Criminals

Sistine Criminals is a LIVE 2 piece - “Half Man, Half Machine" - hybrid electronic band that consists of live instrumentation, electronics and a dual DJ set up along with live production techniques. The current formation with original founders, drummer/producer Greg "TORCH" Sgrulloni (of Conspirator) and saxophonist/producer Aaron "BURN" Burnett (of Esperanza Spalding's R.M.S. Band), aims to blend the analogue of acoustic instruments with the digital of electronics. The Sistine Criminals provide audiences with undeniably infectious "DJ-esque" type dance grooves that are commonly heard only by DJ's in dance club settings. Armed with a combination of pre-composed material and the ability to improvise, they successfully blur the gaps existing between live band, DJ and producer.

They perform within a loop-based context where the majority of the musical elements and FX are controlled and played live and in real-time. They make it a point to minimize the use of traditional "front to back" backing tracks giving them the flexibility to sculpt out their own unique and unpredictable song forms and arrangements. Using this approach enables them to read and interact with the audience "on the fly" as well as never compromising their onstage chemistry. With a sound that is sonically and stylistically on point, the Sistine Criminals is a LIVE band that can play anything from the hypnotic "dancey" grooves of Deep House to the aggressive and dirty sounding beats of DnB and Trap.

The Sistine Criminals are as fun to dance to as they are intriguing to watch and have been blogged as being "high art in your face." They create an utterly amazing live show that not only sets the crowd in motion, but also seemingly demands an immense amount of stamina, concentration, instrumental technique, electronic programming, timing and precision that captivates the audience.
